A historic mansion sits atop a hill in the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The Cherokee Triangle is part of the Highlands and borders Cherokee Park, a popular outdoor destination for Louisville residents. The Highlands are an elevated area above the Ohio River floodplain, that was among t last places near downtown Louisville to be urbanized, because of the difficult terrain.
