A view of the Bountiful Mormon (LDS) Temple Sunrise. The Bountiful Temple is the 47th Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the 8th constructed in Utah. The temple was dedicated in 1995, by church president Howard W. Hunter. The Temple shares a common floor plan with the Timpanogos LDS Temple located in American Fork, Utah. On May 22, 2016, the Temple made headlines when a lightning bolt struck and damaged the Angel Moroni statue atop the Temple’s spire.

Alpaca are naturally found at high altitudes in the Andes mountains of Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador. Alpaca fiber, called wool by some is commonly used in the making of blankets and clothing.

A view of the Bountiful LDS Mormon Temple from Echo Peak, part of the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. The deep blues of twilight are settling in as the orange and yellow shades of sunset recede below the horizon. In the distance one can see the city lights of Bountiful and Centerville, and the reflections of the sky off the still waters of the Great Salt Lake and Farmington Bay. Along the horizon, the peaks of Antelope Island, and those of the Stansbury and Oquirrh Mountains are visible.
