Rising Sun on the Ohio River – Indiana
Rising Sun is a small city on the banks of the Ohio River, in Ohio County, Indiana. The town was originally incorporated in 1816, and was a stopping point on the Ohio River for flatboats coming from Cincinnati and other points along the river. It is located across the river from Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.
