Scripps Center Skyscraper in Cincinnati, Ohio. The high rise building is the 4th largest building in the city and distinct feature of the city urban center, and skyline. At 468 feet it has 35 stories, and 500,000 feet of office space. It was built in 1990. It is part of the central business district, and is across the road from the stadiums for the Cincinnati Cylones Hockey Team, and Reds Baseball Team.

Cincinnati Music Hall, built in 1878, and designed by architect Samuel Hannaford is considered one of the last and best examples of the Victorian Gothic Revival Style. It is home to the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, May Festival Chorus, and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Seal of the University of Cincinnati comes largely from the official insignia of the City of Cincinnati, which was adopted in 1819. The seal includes the scales of justice, a sword and a caduceus, which is the staff carried by Hermes in Greek Mythology, a god also known as Hermes Trismegistus, in Greco-Egyptian mythology. The staff includes two entwined serpents that includes wings. The mottos displayed include “Juncta Juvant” which means strength in unity, and “Alta Petit” seek the highest.

The University of Cincinnati, a public research university, was founded in 1819, and has an annual enrollment of 44,000 students. Its the second largest university in Ohio.
