This ice sculpture depicts Ganesha a Hindu God that is depicted with the head an elephant. Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles and the offspring of Shiva the God of Destruction. Also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Pillaiyar, he is one of the most recognized and worshiped gods in the Hindu religion. The ice sculpture also teases the folk tale that elephants are afraid of mice.
