Dugout Shelter at Dirty Devil Mine (San Rafael Swell) – Utah The Dirty Devil Mine is an abandoned uranium mine located in San Juan County, south of Price, Utah. The mine is situated on the east side of the Dirty Devil River, a tributary of the Colorado River, within the San Rafael Swell. It was in operation during the mid-20th century and produced significant quantities of uranium ore.
