This arch, known as Bowtie, is located west of Arches National Park and Moab, and northeast of Canyonlands, on the hiking trail to Corona Arch. It is close to the Colorado River, which runs east to west through the region. Bowtie Arch formed from the same Entrada Sandstone layer that Arches is geologically famous for.
